The Indian version of the Jeep Compass Trailhawk is going to have a BS-VI engine. The company tested the vehicle last December for the first time, after delaying the launch.

When it arrives during the second quarter of the year, it will be the first time that a Jeep vehicle sports a BS-VI engine in India. In addition, it might also debut the diesel-automatic version in the country, operating through a 9-speed transmission. This option will also sport upgraded off-road specs, including the four-wheel drive with a low range, and a new Rock mode.

This SUV sits 20mm higher and has a unique set of front and back bumpers. The results of this are a better approach and better departure angles. The wheels will be dual-tone alloy, red recovery hooks, as well as a black anti-glare bonnet decal and skid plate.

A panoramic sunroof might also be an option, while another strong possibility is the 8.4-inch infotainment system. It will surely sit on top of the throne when it comes to the Jeep Compass class in India. The class so far includes the Sport, Latitude, Limited, and Limited Plus types.
